Welcome to Jamul Primary School.  We at JPS are proud to provide your children with wonderful educational opportunities.  Our rich and stimulating learning environments are created by a caring staff.  Jamul Primary teachers have high expertise in all subject areas.  Our entire staff is dedicated to the well being of each and every child on site.

Educational opportunity highlights that are available at our school are the new Dual Language Immersion 50:50 program, Orff-Schulwerk music classes for all students, visual art classes for all students (18 sessions per school year), Reading Recovery, Waterford Reading Lab, Reading Groups, Band (beginning at grade 3), Musical Theater (beginning at grade 3), wonderful after school enrichment classes for all students, Kids Club (6:00-6:00 program), two computer labs, internet access in all classrooms, and class size reduction throughout the site.  We are a PeaceBuilder School and we are teaching our students the “I CARE” (Integrity, Cooperation, Attitude, Respect and Empathy) program. 

We couldn’t do all of this without the help of our remarkable volunteers.  Volunteer opportunities exist through the PTA, art docent program, Rolling Readers, School Site Council, Strategic Planning, English Language Advisory Council and others.  We are delighted that our elementary schools benefit from over 500 volunteer hours each month.

THE BOOKMOBILE IS COMING TO JAMUL SCHOOLS!!!! The East County Bookmobile will be visting Jamul schools every 2nd and 4th Tuesday for the months of January, Febraury and March. The Bookmobile will be parked in the Jamul Intermediate School parking lot from 2:30pm - 3:30pm on those Tuesdays. Please come and join in the fun!! A link for details and a complete schedule is...
