Board Policy

Policies and Board Bylaws

The Board of Trustees and the District administration of the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District completed a review of its Board-approved policies, with the assistance of the CSBA (California School Boards Association) in November 2011. The CSBA provides a comprehensive, standard index system designed to accommodate future policies/regulations, which is widely used by districts throughout the state. CSBA assists school districts throughout California to develop legally sound policies that comply with new laws and mandates, while providing all stakeholders with policies that are readable and understandable.

As laws change, policies will undergo continuous review to ensure compliance with legal mandates. It is important for all stakeholders to recognize that Board policies are “living documents” that may be revised, with Board approval, to meet current law and mandates. To access a specific policy, please refer to the policy index containing Board Bylaws (BB), administrative regulations (AR) and exhibits (E) for each section, and then click on the link provided. Unlinked policy sections are currently under review and will be posted as soon as they become available.

By providing Board policies electronically to all stakeholders, the Board of Trustees furthers its commitment to inform the community of its actions and service to all students and their families.

Board-approved policies are arranged in the following sections:
